Who We Are
The
Sudan Powerboat Federation is the official governing body for powerboat racing
in Sudan, recognized and supported by the Union Internationale Motonautique
(UIM), the world governing authority for the sport. Founded to grow powerboat
racing at every level in Sudan, from grassroots training to international
competition, the Federation exists to give Sudanese talent a structured path
onto the world stage.
Our Direction
To
develop, govern, and grow powerboat racing in Sudan, building the
infrastructure that allows Sudanese athletes to compete and win at the highest
international level, while opening the sport to a new generation of racers,
fans, and supporters.

What We Stand For...
The principles shaping our future
Every result on the water carries the Sudanese flag onto an international stage.
From training standards to race-day performance, we hold ourselves to the same benchmark as the world's leading powerboat nations.
We are building pathways for new drivers, technicians, and officials to enter the sport, not just supporting the athletes who are already at the top.
We aim to be a driving force for motorsport across the Arab and African worlds.
As a UIM-recognized body, we govern the sport in Sudan to international standards of fairness, safety, and sportsmanship.

Sudan has never been short of talent. What it has needed is the platform to prove it.
For years, young Sudanese men and women with the drive, the discipline, and the raw ability to compete at the highest level had nowhere to take that talent. No pathway, no stage, no one telling them their ambition was worth investing in. The Sudan Powerboat Federation exists to change that.
Our 2026 World Championship title did not come from nowhere. It came from believing that Sudanese athletes deserve the same opportunities as anyone else in this sport, and then building the training, the support, and the competition needed to prove it. That belief is now the foundation of everything we do.
Going forward, our focus is on expanding that opportunity. We are committed to identifying and nurturing the next generation of Sudanese racing talent, wherever it comes from, and giving them the training and support to compete on the world stage. We are equally committed to bringing world class powerboat racing home, organizing the events and competitions that Sudan's fans and athletes deserve to see and be part of, not just watch from a distance.
This is bigger than one team, one title, or one season. It is about building something that lasts, a home for Sudanese powerboat racing that gives our youth a reason to dream and a route to get there. We are just getting started, and we are building it for Sudan.
